After a very long journey, today my first book, THE MADMAN'S DAUGHTER, is out in the world. I started writing this book in fall of 2010 and sold it in July 2011. It takes a long time to make, design & market a book, and it wouldn't be on the shelves without my great literary agents Josh Adams, Quinlan Lee, and Tracey Adams; and my editor Kristin Rens and the entire Balzer + Bray and HarperCollins team.
If you live close by, I hope you'll be able to make it to the launch party tonight at Highland Books in Brevard, NC. It starts at 5pm and I'll be signing books and chatting with people. There'll be music, great decorations, wine, and general merriment!
Thank you to all my friends & family & fellow book lovers who have waited as patiently as I have for the book's release. It's now available everywhere (in US & Canada) so go forth and reserve it at your library, or buy it in stores or online!
- Signed copies available from Highland Books. They'll ship it to you anywhere. Contact them at 828-884-2424.
- Hardback copies available at your local indie bookstore (find your closest one here) and at your local Barnes & Noble
- e-book available via Amazon and Barnes & Noble
- Audiobook available via Audible
And a few special launch-day treats today:
THE MADMAN'S DAUGHTER was included on USA Today's Happy Ever After blog!
And I'm extra excited to share my interview on Entertainment Weekly's EW.com Shelf Life blog about the inspiration for the book, plans for the sequel, and my playlist!
